Westlake, OH | 16 June 2018 | ROBERT G. BOUDON, age 98. A humble servant has left his earthly home to begin his life in heaven, reunited with his beloved wife Peggy (Margaret Ann Honsberger). Bob was born in Port Allegany, PA. During WWII Bob served as Captain of a B-17 Bomber, flying missions to Germany, Russia and Poland. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross. After the war Bob and Peggy settled in Olean, N.Y. and later moved to Lakewood, OH. Left behind to celebrate his life are children Claudia Pawlak (Ray, deceased), Greg (Sue), Jim (deceased), Betsy Guild (Jacek), Christopher, Margy Poorman, Larry (Lynn), Mike (Nancy), Barb Samanta (Supriya). Loving Grandpa to 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by four siblings. After retiring from his sales career, Bob and Peg moved to Westlake. Bob volunteered into his 90’s as a Eucharistic Minister and Usher at St. Bernadette Church. Our Dad was a wonderful husband and father, who loved his family beyond measure. His life was an example of strong faith, hard work, humor, generosity and so much more. We will miss him. Funeral Mass at St. Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Rd., Friday, June 22 at 10:30am. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. Friends may call in the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE, 25620 CENTER RIDGE ROAD, WESTLAKE, OHIO 44145 THURSDAY 2 - 4 and 6 - 8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be forwarded to Camilla Hall Nursing Home, c/o Mission Advancement, 1140 King Rd., Immaculatta, PA 19345 |
