Philip Lewis Moody
Militarypersonal photo of Brenda Moody Kempton
Member of Ford's crew
Born and raised in the Gila Valley, Graham County, Arizona. Fiercely patriotic and emotional when seeing the flag. Didn't talk much about the war, except the story of evacuating French POWs. It was very difficult as the French fell down and kissed their feet. It was hard for them to spray them with DDT before letting them on the plane due to the lice. He spoke of it with great emotion, 40 years later.
