Ground personnel of the 474th Fighter Group inspect a 429th Fighter Squadron P-38J-15-LO, s/n 43-28366, coded 7Y-I. On 26 November 1944, the aircraft experienced a flat tire upon landing at airfield A-78 Florennes, Belgium causing the nose gear to collapse. The pilot, 2Lt. Milton R. Graham, was OK. This ship was transferred from the 364th Fighter Group.
