1st Lt Marion Ulysses Reid 322BS, 94BG, 8AF. Pilot of B-17G 42-31540 'Miss Donna Mae' lost on 19-May-44 over Berlin when a stick of 1000lb bombs from another B-17 dropped from above, fatally damaged the tailplane of his aircraft.
Failed to Return (FTR) raid to Berlin 19-May-44 in B-17 42-31540 'Miss Donna Mae II'. Bombs from another B-17 ripped off the port stabilizer over the target condemning the pilot and crew. Killed in Action (KIA).
