Replaced 44-40102 HEAVEN CAN WAIT lost on 27 May 44. Transferred to 458th BG, 755th BS in Aug 44. Reassigned to 753rd BS in Oct 44. On 14 Mar 45 it was damaged by a gun firing accident on the base. Baby Shoes was repaired and returned to the USA at the end of the war.
