Missing in Action 113th mission, Bremen 12/10/44 with Bill Miller, Co-pilot: Joe Kayatta, Bombardier: Bob Brucks, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Chas Bacharach, Radio Operator: John Wilson, Ball turret gunner: Earl Bowen, Tail gunner: Matt Ransom (7 Killed in Action); Navigator: Sid Solomon, Waist gunner: Paschel Powell (2 Returned to Duty).
After flak damage, ship dived down then exploded; sal 18/10/44.
