Shot Down

East of Dunkirk, France 13 October 1944 Damaged by flak over Dunkirk. The crew was forced to bail out. Pilot Gentry Milhorn bailed out and was able to return to duty. SSGT Daniel Chest helped seriously wounded gunner CPL Michael Doran successfully bail out as well.
