Assigned to 409BS, 93BG, 8AF USAAF. TDY 9AF USAAF. Flew Ploesti 1-Aub-43 mission. Made it back to one of the bases outside Benghazi on only two engines, due to flak damaged fuel tanks and transfer system. On approach to base the remaining engines failed due to fuel starvation, pilot glided down to land with no flaps or brakes. A/C damaged severely, repaired and transferred to 

512BS, 376BG, 15AF USAAF.
