Military ROLL OF HONOURRWG, Humason Crew. 381st BG, 535th BS, 8th AF. Shot down 30 July 1943 in B-17 #42-3100. Mission #16 to Kassel, Germany. MACR 129. Killed in Action. S/Sgt Anderson and Sgt Robbins (LWG) attempted to bail out though the rear door which was stuck. They were wounded previously in the aircraft. Both bailed out through the waist gunner window. S/Sgt Anderson hit the horizontal stabilizer and then his chute failed to open. Buried in the Netherlands AMC. Plot J, Row 1, Grave 17.
