Charles Gerald Davis is the son of Dr. Cecil Clair and Margaret Marie Quinlan Davis. Charles Enlisted into the Army Air Corps, Aviation Cadet on 3 Oct 1941. On his application it states that he had 4 years of college with Civil Occupation as Architects. Charles did not survive the war. Information from his niece, Carol Davis Moss, she states that Charles attended UC Berkeley and then enlisted in the Army Air Force when WWII began. He became a navigator and attained the rank of Major. He was killed by injuries sustained from Flak after a bombing raid over Belgium, the only one in the crew to die.
