The aircraft, 44-8080, The Saint, was lost, and failed to return (FTR) from a mission to Merseburg, Germany, 3/1/44. It had a midair collision with, the B-17G, 42-97407, The As-Te-Risk, also from the 390th Bomb Group. Crashed at Flur Oberklobikau, Germany. 30/11/1944. 10 KIA. Missing Air Crew Report - MACR 11131.
