Delivered Cheyenne 22/6/44; Kearney 13/7/44; Grenier 20/7/44; Assigned 849BS/490BG Eye 22/7/44; 850BS; Missing in Action Sedlcany, Czechoslovakia 19/4/45 with Robert Norvell, Wendell Snyder, Newton Parker (2 Prisoners of War, Newton Parker was never a prisoner of war); Lorenzo Smith, Gordon Lake, Leo Borden, Peter Malires, Carl Johnson, Robert A. Johnson (6 murdered by the German SS about 12 hours after being captured ); jet enemy aircraft, crashed Schonau, Ger. Missing Air Crew Report 14194. This attack occurred over Sedlcany, Czechoslovakia, not Germany. Three out of the four B-17s hit on April 19, 1945 crashed in Czechoslovakia. The fourth plane, piloted by Lt. McCallister crashed near Dresden, Germany after the bomb run.
