Missing in Action on a mission to Bremen, Germany on 26 November 1943 with Pilot-Leslie Otho Amundsen, Navigator-Frank Faragasso, Bombardier-Robert Vincent Coughlin, Radio Operator-Murray Max, Flexible Gunner-Howard, Frank Chairet , Co-pilot-William Theodore Marcollo, Engineer/Top Turret Gunner-Lawrence F. Lord, Ball Turret Gunner-James Michael Culloty, Waist Gunner Charles Emil Zesch and Tail Gunner-Cecil William Brown were all captured and became Prisoners of War (10 POW). Shot down by enemy aircraft and force landed near Donkerbroek, The Netherlands. Missing Air Crew Report (MACR) #1662.
