Delivered to Hunter 13/1/45; Dow Fd 1/2/45; Assigned to the 547th Bomb Squadron, 384th Bomb Group [SO-A], Station 106, Grafton Underwood, UK on 20 February 1945; transferred with group to Istres on passenger transport duties; crash landed at St Andre Le Cote, France on 10 December 1945 with Pilot-Lewis R. Ahner Jr., Copilot-Weldon C. Bragg and Engineer-Frederick C. Milne were seriously injured. Navigator-Desire L. Massicotte, Radio Operator- Alexander W. Andrews, Passenger-John Anthony Blagg, Passenger-John P. Tarro and Passenger Norman D. DeClarke were killed. Salvaged 9th AF Germany on 4/3/46.
