I am the son of Lt. Col. James H. Keeffe Jr USAF (Ret) who was co-pilot of a B-24 heavy bomber with the 566th Bomb Squadron, 389th Bomb Group - the Sky Scorpions - of the Mighty Eighth. I wrote and published a book about my father's WWII experiences titled, "Two Gold Coins and a Prayer: The Epic Journey of a World War II Bomber Pilot, Evader, and POW."
