Bio

Douglas Newton Taylor served with Ohio National Guard prior to WWII, after earning his private pilot's license he transferred to the Army Air Force. From March 1943 he flew combat missions with the 444th Bomb Squadron, 320th Bomb Group, until injured in a crash at takeoff. He remained with the 320th as pilot of the Group's courier aircraft 47 43-49203 "Li’L Woman" until the end of the War. He remained in the Air Force until retirement in 1963.
