My name is Katherine Riemer, I am the granddaughter of Lieutenant Alberth A, Riemer "Lee" or "Leonard". I loved my Papa dearly and would love to learn more about his time in serving our country during WWII. He never spoke of his time oversees until his last couple years of life with us, but what I do know about his accomplishments are among the following: 1. He was Lead Navigator on a M-24 - Occupation & Title: Na. 103 2. Flew 32 missions over Germany on the "Susan Jane" 3. Night Raids 4. Did one mission with Jimmy Stewart? 5. 453RD BOMB GROUP 6. 733rd Bomb Squadron 7. Served from 1943-1945 8. Air Medal 9. European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign 10. World War II Victory Medal 11. Received the Distinguished Flying Cross 12.
