Damaged by fighters on a mission to Frankfurt am Main, GR on 11 Feb 1944, B-17G 42-39962 crashed near Dieppe, FR after the crew bailed out. Prisoner of War (POW).



My father was a prisoner of war from Feb. 11, 1944 to the war's end April 30, 1945 at Stalag Luft I in Barth Germany. He had many interesting stories about the experience and I have pictures of the camp and liberation
