Navigator - 14 months with 389th Bomb Group, 564th Bomb Squadron, 2nd Combat Wing, 18th AF (2AD) - lead navigator for wing and entire 2nd Division AF - responsible for direction and course of B-24 while in aerial flight against the enemy. Direction success of approx 700 B-24's to target rested with the lead navigator of division. Command function coupled with navigation duties resulted in 29 aerial missions over enemy occupied territory. Supervised training as wing (95th) navigator for all bomb groups in wing.
