Ellis H Davison
Military ROLL OF HONOURFirst Lieutenant Ellis Davison was a command pilot with over 50 missions with the 450th Squadron of the 322nd Bomb Group, based at Andrews Field, north of London. On the night of July 7-8, 1944 he agreed to substitute as co-pilot for B-26 #42-95970 under Captain Frederick E Peters, for the first B-26 night mission. He was killed in action when the aircraft was shot down over France, north of Amiens.
