Returned to United States. Joined with a B-29 Group, 9th BG, 20th AF and was based on Tinian flying 35 x missions over Japan.
Awards: DFC (3OLC), PH, AM (7OLC), WWII Victory, EAME, American Campaign and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medals. Also awarded the British Foreign Allied Service ribbon.
