Cleo Cecil Terrio

Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Cleo Terrio completed 10 missions over occupied Europe with the 387th Bomb Group. On 26 June 1943 he was involved in a crash landing in Essex in B-26 Marauder #41-31680 due to pilot error and suffered minor injuries. On 24 October 1943, Terrio was involved in another crash landing, this time in B-26 Marauder #41-31641 at Gosfield, Essex and was killed in the accident. On 21 September 1944, Terrio's father Frank H Terrio, was awarded the Air Medal on behalf of his son at a ceremony at Post Headquarters, Madison.
