B-87 Rosieres, France 14 January 1945 Nose gear was not down and locked although the landing gear indicator light showed it was, thus the nose gear collapsed upon landing.

8 miles SW of Sittard, Netherlands 9 February 1945 he plane piloted by L.E. Cannon, with S/Sgt J.W. Robinson as gunner, also crash-landed. They were forced down in a field just inside the bomb line. None of the crews were injured.
