Object Number - UPL 37589 - George Edward Evans

George E Evans served in the AAC from 1943 to 1945 as a PFC Radio Gunner. He flew missions over France and other countries in a B24 Liberator. He had some harrowing experiences that he didn't like to talk about. We are looking for more information on his service. The National Archives only had his final pay voucher. He married and had four children in Chicago Illinois and later retired to Maumee, Ohio.
