Ronnie Jarrod

Ronnie Jarrod lived near the Attlebridge airbase. At the age of 12, he and another boy Kenneth Tayor (aged 10) found a parachute with mortar bomb attached. Unfortunately as they were handling it the bomb exploded and both boys were killed. They are buried in All Saints Churchyard, Weston Longville.
