Later transferred to the 394th Fighter Squadron, 367th Fighter Group in England where he claimed one Bf-109 damaged. Shot down by flak over Cherbourg on 22-Jun-44. MACR 6187



Awards: DFC, AM (3OLC), PH, American Campaign and Defense medals, AP Campaign, EAME Campaign (3 x Battle Stars).
