Pilot Spitfire BL963 on return from escort and out of fuel, belly landed at Upper Farm Sutton Kent, Cat CB damage. 24-3-42. Shot down by Fw190's of JG 26 on 'Circus 144' St Omer, April 28, 1942 and became a POW.
