Post war: Remained with USAF, serving in both Korea and Vietnam, rising to the rank of Brigadier General in Dec-72.



He is a command pilot with more than 7,000 flying hours, including 5,000 in jet fighter aircraft. He has flown the P-51, F-51, F-47, F-80, F-84 [B,F, and G], F-86 [E and F], F-100, F-104, F-105, F-4, A-6, F-111, FB-111, KC-135, Gloster Meteor, Hawker Hunter and English Electric Lightning.
