Reg Holliday served as a co-pilot with the 418th Bomb Squadron, 100th Bomb Group, flying missions out of Thorpe Abbotts, England, Dec. 1943-May 1944. Upon completion of his combat service he was trained for Flight Control Officer duty and was assigned to the 493rd Bomb Group, Debach where he served for the duration of hostilities in the ETO.
