Killed In Action. B-24H 42-50345 shot down by flak, crashed in the English Channel off Zuydcoote, France on May 28, 1944 after all crew baled out. ABMC lists DOD as May 29, 1945. (All eight casualties in this crew have a legal death date of May 29, not May 28, and 1945, not 1944.)
