Sgt Arthur Adams was the son of Joseph R and Delphia J Adams. He was from Post Oak, Clay county, Texas. He enlisted Feb. 22, 1943 in Abilene, Texas. Killed along with eight other men when B-17 42-102567 (Sarah Gray) crashed on takeoff for a bombing mission from Rattlesden air base, England.
