Shot down 19 August 1943 in B-17 #42-3192, "City of Albuquerque". Killed in Action (KIA) 303BG/358BS while serving as Pilot on a mission to bomb the German airdrome and storehouses at Gilze-Rijen, Holland. MACR 284.
