A combined force of 112 P-47s from: 4FG; 56FG; and 78FG are despatched on a fighter sweep of the coast of Belgium and Holland in support of the B-26 attack by VIII Air Support Command on the coke ovens at Ghent, Belgium. There are no losses or claims.
