Description

This mission was comprised of two elements of B-26 Bombers (M) despatched to bomb the German airfields of Beauvais/Tille and Evereux/Fauville, France. The first element was a combined force of 72 B-26s from 322BG (36) and 387BG (36) that were despatched to bomb at Beauvais/Tille, France. However, the fighter escort taht ws to accompany the attack was recalled due to weather, so the formation was recalled. There were no losses or claims.



The second element was a formation of 72 B-26s from : 323BG (36) and 386BG (36) despatcehd to bomb at Evereux/Fauville, France. 70 aircraft were effective on the target. There were no losses or claims.
