1 B-24 from 479th Anti-Submarine Group/4th Anti-Submarine Squadron is despatched on an anti-sub patrol over the Bay of Biscay, France. The aircraft is shot down by German fighters and crashes into the sea. 7POW 3RTD (rescued by ASR).



3 F-5s from 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group are despatched to fly photo recce sorties over Holland and NW France.
