Twenty-eight years after the William Chapman Crew, 791 BS, 467th BG, A/C B-24J 42-50599, on Group Mission #196, was shot down, this article was published in the Russian newspaper "Pravda" in the September 1973 issue. It written by Col. V. A. Timofeev, retired from the Russian Air Force, who had met the Chapman Crew after they had been shot down.
