IMAGELt. Roy C. Garrett of Tallahassee, FL, enlisted 25 November 1940. Assigned to the 368th Fighter Squadron 23 January 1945. On his first combat mission, 14 February 1945, he suffers a coolant leak and bails out successfully. Noted as MIA, Lt. Garrett is captured and held as a POW until war's end.
