CAPT Forrest E. Flagler, son of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest W. Flagler, was born Aug. 16, 1919 at Chickasha OK, graduated from El Reno OK High School and attended Okla. Christian Univ. He entered the service at Oklahoma City on March 3, 1942 and trained at San Antonio, Scott Field NM and Santa Ana CA. CAPT Flagler served in the ETO with the 8th AAC, 412th SQ., 95th Bomb Gp., participating in the first daylight raid over Berlin and completing 46 missions. He was discharged Feb. 19, 1946 and was awarded the DFC w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Air Medal w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters, the EAME Medal w/3 Battle Stars and the Presidential Citation.
