Earl Wassom (Left) & Eddie Brighty (Right) Earl Wassom was a pilot with the 466th BG - 785th BS. Eddie was an English school boy who lived just beside the 785th BG officer's quarters. Wassom and several other 785th BS officers pooled their money and bought Eddie a very hard to come by bicycle for Christmas in 1944. Earl and Eddie are shown here at a reunion at Attllebridge in 2012.
