A photograph of RAF Sculthorpe, probably taken in April 1944. Both RAF and USAAF B17/Fortresses can be seen parked around the site. An area within the runway triangle and by the watchtower appear to have been painted over on the negative. The theory is that this is to disguise gliders which were parked there prior to D Day.
