This is the original crew of LAMBSY DIVEY. They did their final training in this plane and flew it to England in 1944. The plane was lost to flak 12 Sep 44, with another crew. Standing (L-R) George Cotnoir - Pilot Sig Liebfeld - Co-Pilot Waymon Baker - Navigator Francisco Mercado, Jr. - Bombardier Kneeling (L-R) Chester Carr - Engineer Peter Perhach - Radio Operator Hassel Blaylock - Gunner Andy Bouchard - Gunner Morris R. "Ray" Counts - Gunner Hit by flak and exploded 12 Sep 44 with loss of all the Robert Sparrow crew except gunner, Henry Morris, who was blown free and able to open his chute.
