P-47 Thunderbolts attack a group of Sherman tanks during Operation Rainbow in West Germany, 1950. Hubert Zemke (56th Fighter Group) has handwritten on the reverse: 'Aggressor P-47 Thunderbolts catching an tank in manoeuvres shortly after WWII. A drop at this point of the belly tank filled with napalm would certainly have destoryed this target.
