A test pilot gives a P-51 Mustang the final checks before its test flight at Renfew Airfield at Glasgow. After recently arriving from the United States, the aircraft will be tested at Renfew airfield before being taken to a dispersal area where a ferry pilot will send the aircraft to a Squadron or Group's operational base. This plane and many others were shipped from the United States for use in the ETO.
