Printed caption on reverse: 'FIFTH AIR FORCE KOREA- Col Francis S Gabreski, Oil City, Pa, noted "Ace" of World War II, is back in action against enemy aircraft and he apparently lost none of his skill in shooting down hostile fighters. Assigned to the veteran "MIG Killing" 4th Fighter Interceptor Wing, Col Gabreski is shown in the cockpit of his US Air Force F-86 Sabre jet after returning victoriously from combat. He scored his first aerial victory over Northwest Korea July 8 1952, when he sent one MIG-15 spinning earthward in flames, April 1952. US Air Force photo.'
