A B-24 Liberator (serial number 41-23744) nicknamed "Geronimo" of the 328th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group that has crash landed at Tafarnoui Airbase (near Oran in Algeria). Printed caption on reverse of print: 'SC 172585 - North Africa. Crack-up of a B-24 Liberator, heavy bomber of the 328th Bomber Squadron. Members of the crew were not injured. The accident was caused by the collapsing of the nose wheel. Tafarnoui Airbase, Oran, Algeria. 14 December 1942.' On reverse: US Army Photograph Copyright [Stamp].
