Handwritten captions on reverse of prints: '322. DR-F, 131806. HL-Q.' Printed caption on reverse: 'At A B-26 Marauders Station In Britain. B-26 Twin Engine Bombers called Marauders have been recently introduced into action in the European Theatre of War. Boasting good speed, plenty of armament (which is similar to the armament of the Fortresses) and above average bomb load, the medium bombers have raided enemy airfields and installations with great success. In the first 30 Marauder raids only four aircraft failed to return. They are escorted and supported by R.A.F. Spitfires in all their missions. In this series of pictures taken at a B-26 Station somewhere in Britain the complete story of a Marauder mission is illustrated. Keystone Photo Shows:- Marauders In Flight. 1 to 19. U.S. Pool/F. Keystone SG.' On reverse: Keystone Publishing, US Army Press Censor ETO and US Army General Section Press & Censorship Bureau [Stamps]. Censor no: 282904.
