Injured in crash landing in France on 10 Sept 44. Command Pilot was Rosenthal. Returned to base. Leg was broken and took 3 years to heal.

 

Capt. Woodrow McGill was original cadre with the 487th Bomb Group. He served as the 487th BG Group Navigator and was transferred to the 100th Bomb Group.
