Warren L King
Military ROLL OF HONOURFrom my father's war album, Robert S. Ross
Warren L. King was a navigator in the 398th, 8th Air Force. According to notes, his ship was hit by flak on a mission to Kassel, Germany on January 1, 1945. Reports state this the pilot put his ship in a dive to extinguish a fire in one of the engines. Lt King bailed out over the North Sea and was never found. My father, Lt Robert Rosenberg, witnessed the crash.
Killed in Action (KIA) ditched in the North Sea in B-17 #4338895
