Belgium | 16 April 1945 | Fighting engine problems, the Felber a/c (44-10591) drifted into the tail of the the Paul Evans Crew aircraft, chopping off one of the Evan's a/c vertical stabilizers, losing a propeller on their own a/c in the process. Felber was able to nurse the a/c back to Attlebridge. All of the Evans Crew survived bailing out of their a/c and were returned to Attlebridge as well. |
