Theodore G Ferentinos
Military ROLL OF HONOURTheodore Ferentinos was a Tail Gunner in the 94th Bomb Group / 410th Bomb Squadron. Shot down in B-17 # 42-29710 on the 29 May 1943 mission to naval depots in Rennes, France. Badly wounded by a Flak shell in the upper right thigh, he was helped in the plane by fellow crew members who pushed him out of the stricken B-17. He landed in the Ille et Rance canal near Saint-Malo and was immediately taken, prisoner. The Germans put him in hospital in Saint-Malo and Teddy died there from loss of blood the day after the crash.
